Pastor Amanda le Roux is the Founder of Ariella Ministries, which is a prayer and evangelistic ministry under the covering of the local Pastors Fraternal in Standerton and Jaymet Ministries in Ermelo.
More about the name Ariella: Ariella comes from the root word Ariel, a Hebrew word meaning Lion of God. The name would, in this sense be descriptive of Jerusalem, which had always been a sort of champion of Jesus - a Warrior fighting His battles with a lion's courage and fierceness. Ariella is a female version meaning the Lioness of God.
We understand that Jesus commissioned us in John 20:21 with these words: “Jesus repeated His greeting, “Peace to you!” And He told them, “Just as the Father has sent me, I’m now sending you.” Jesus not only came to save us and restore our original identity, but He also restored the unique mandate He gave to Adam (Genesis 1:26 and Psalm 8:6-8), making us a new man with a brand new nature in Christ after salvation and repositioning us in Christ Jesus in Heavenly Places. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 4:25; Romans 6:6; Colossians 3:10; Ephesians 2:6)
Therefore the key scripture of Ariella Ministries: “From the moment John stepped onto the scene until now, the realm of heaven’s kingdom is bursting forth, and passionate people have taken hold of its power.” Matthew 11:12 TPT
Jesus is still our Intercessors, He is the Lion of Juda, a Warrior fighting His battles with a lion's courage and fierceness and He commissioned us to do the same!
The vision of Ariella Ministries is training the warrior bride of Christ, to arise in her true identity, growing in godly authority and dominion in Christ. The mission is to bring healing and restoration to the church, to women of all ages, marriages, families, and communities through prophetic teaching and preaching, activating the Bride to new levels of prayer and intercession and establishing the kingdom of heaven in families that will lead to healthy communities and also the facilitation of reconciliation processes.
This ministry strongly believes that we should be actively involved in the ministry of reconciliation as a church. (2 Corinthians 5:11-21)
More about the founder: Amanda gave her heart to Jesus as a small girl, and she grew from a shy, intimidated little girl to a warrior daughter of God as she pursued His presence and opened her heart for His love. His unconditional love and presence became her real source of strength, healing, and restoration. Being set free from the levels of rejection and inferiority that became a healthy lifestyle for her because of the childhood experiences, she grew spiritually into a passionate woman of God who understands her worth and identity. She, therefore, avails her life to equip and see the House of God being set free from a false identity that most of the times, lead to a passive unfruitful Christian lifestyle. She lives to see the House of God arise as the powerful Warrior Bride He called her to be.
Amanda moved to Standerton with her husband Barend and two sons Francois and SP in 1996. God imparted the sound of His heart for Standerton in her heart, and she became sold out to see the glory of God restored in her ‘city.’
Amanda has been part of the Standerton4Jesus Fraternal for several years where she is acting as coordinator of the prayer and equipping activities.
For 21 years she has served as convener, facilitator and vision bearer of the prayer network in Standerton. She is known for her passion for prayer and her outcry for revival for both her community and South Africa as a whole.
Amanda herself is an experienced minister of the Gospel and has been involved with the leadership of the Mpumalanga Prayer Network and is widely involved in strategic prayer for South Africa. She is on the IFSA (Intercessors For South Africa) Leadership leading prayer actions countrywide focusing on SA turning back to God.
On 24 August 2014, Amanda, supported by Barend, her husband, has been set apart or assigned and commissioned by The Standerton4Jesus Fraternal as Pioneer and for the task of prayer ministry, evangelism, equipment and mobilising of prayers/intercessors country and worldwide.
The Fraternal tasked her for the Prayer School that commenced in June 2014. The purpose of prayer training is the active and focused prayer for our town, the Church, and every spiritual leader as well as raising a prayer team in every church community.
In this way, the Church becomes "the house of prayer" following the heartbeat of God.
She was the full-time representative and coordinator of Voice in the City South Africa (VitCSA) from June 2016 to December 2018 and had the task to register the ministry and establish their office in SA. As agreed with the VitC International leadership, she also continued to run her ministry separately from Voice in the City.
One of Amanda’s roles in the ministry of Voice in the City (SA) was to help organise their local events, for example, speaking engagements for Suzette and Gayle, such as conferences, local churches, and evangelistic outreaches, healing meetings, prayer seminars, prayer schools and various other ministry capacities.
Alongside other things, Amanda is active with the training of intercessors in congregations throughout South Africa and internationally. She was also part of a team of counsellors that successfully served traumatised people in South Africa, Germany, and Switzerland.
Amanda was involved in planting and establishing several churches in and around her town. She was instrumental in planting the Shofar Family Church in Standerton. She is a bridge-builder between people groups and lives to see true unity in the Church.
